Depending on the particular model you are looking at, standard features can vary. Some models have 3 or 5 inch casters; furthermore, the models with 5 inch casters could have a footplate. Additionally, there are two arm rest types to choose from, fixed or swing arm rests. Overall, the Vero Push-Back Recliners have an infinite position backrest, fixed or swing armrest, comfortable cushioning, and easy to clean upholstery.

Due to recent changes in the fire safety laws, no flame-resistant chemicals can be added to upholstered parts and furnishings shipping into CA, ME, NH, AK & Washington DC. The law, taking effect as of January 1, 2020, prohibits manufacturers of upholstered furnishings from delivering furnish or using replacement components that contain more than 1,000 ppm of several designated flame-retardant chemicals. Standard Features

Standard or XL Width

Choose between a Standard or XL width. The weight capacity for the Standard width is 350-pounds, while the XL width has a 500-pound capacity. Also, the XL width's seat is approximately 4-inches wider than the standard's seat.

Trendelenburg or Non-Trendelenburg

The Trendelenburg position is commonly used to treat patients with hypotension. Chairs with Trendelenburg are popular in dialysis settings.

Fixed or Swing Arms

Swing-away arms open 180-degrees and offer convenient cleaning access. Swing-away arms are ideal for patient transfers. Fixed armrests are suitable for general-purpose settings and/or where space is limited.

Caster Size

Two caster sizes are available, 3-inch or 5-inch. A 3-inch caster is preferred if you need to move your Vero chair around just for cleaning purposes. A 5-inch caster is preferred if you intend to push the patient around while they sit in the chair. Additionally, the Vero with a 5-inch caster includes a footplate.
