The Amrex US/50 Ultrasound/Stim Combo offers an affordable option for practitioners requiring combination therapy, and is completely sealed for underwater therapy options. The single-channel, two-pad, low-volt muscle stimulator and ultrasound device has a myriad of adjustable features to customize therapy sessions to the individual patient. Output modes include tetanize, pulsation, surge, and reciprocal. Pulse width can be adjusted between 1 and 80 pulses per second, and the surge and reciprocal duration can be adjusted between 3.75 seconds on/off to .375 seconds on/off.

The cable fault alarm system detects improper transducer connection and potential cable damage and has a safety shutdown feature. The intensity reset circuit prevents practitioners from accidentally applying a previous patient’s output settings on another patient, and the patient treatment stop switch provides patients with comfort and security, knowing they can stop the device’s output, and therefore the treatment, at any time should they feel any discomfort or in case of an emergency.

The ultrasound and muscle stimulator modes increase the device’s versatility. The ultrasound mode has a variable interrupt output mode and an optional small transducer with a “QuickConnect” cable for convenience. The stimulator can be applied through a transducer for combination therapies and has a variable surge mode.
