The Standalone Face Guard for Hard Shell Helmet is designed to accompany Danmar's popular, high-quality Hard Shell Helmet. Helmets with firm crowns are especially useful for children whose physical or behavioral disabilities render them susceptible to head-related injuries. The Standalone Face Guard for Hard Shell Helmet is an individual component that can be purchased to provide extra protection. In addition to a padded chin strap, the face guard is available in a number of ventilation designs. When not in use the face guard can be pivoted upward, granting the user an unobstructed view.

When you need full facial coverage, this model offers the best features. The entire clear face guard can be pivoted to the top of the helmet for convenience of the user. The chin area is cushioned with ½"½ vinyl coated foam padding. It has an eye level opening (1"X 6") for unobstructed vision, and a mouth opening (1"x 3 3/4") for maximum ventilation. The faceguard is shipped with mounting hardware and instructions.
