"Evie was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic quadriplegia at just four months old. She is unable to sit independently, despite being a target goal for her, causing her to tip over to the side. This has affected her confidence with trying to independently sit. With the Scallop, Evie can now participate in many more activities than before, giving her the ability to play with her brothers and sisters more."
"Kristopher has cerebral palsy, and struggles to sit independently without leaning forward in a rounded shape to keep his balance. While trying out the Scallop, Kristopher and his family went out to dinner, where he got to eat AT THE TABLE at eye level. This was an emotional and fantastic moment. His confidence and freedom has been boosted, and he can now enjoy playing with his little sister and best friend."
"Jonah has been diagnosed with Autism and Hypermobility. He likes to stay in constant motion, seeking out the next sensation. When he plays in his toy room, he is either in a lounger or seated 'W' style which hinders his posture and leg muscles; and correcting this is difficult with his constant motion. The Scallop had Jonah content and comfortable, and had him not wanting to get out of it. It made him feel secure and snug. At dinner, he sat still and was not restless."
