With five (5) motor-operable functions, the Lincoln Expandable Five Function Bariatric Electric Bed series makes for the optimal hospital bed in many facilities and at home. Each comes with two (2) height adjustable side assist rails, measuring at a quarter of the bed length. Mounted to the head section, these assist rails move up and down with it, acting as a single unit.
Made for easy transporting, each bed includes eight (8) casters in total: four (4) with swivel and four (4) locking. Additionally, each bed includes two (2) intravenous (IV) mounting pole sockets at the head of the bed and one (1) at the middle, providing a variety of treatment room setups and accommodations. In addition to the two (2) IV pole sockets at the head of the bed, there are two (2) trapeze bracket mounts on the corner.
With the Lincoln Bariatric Bed's built-in scale and nurse control system, medical professionals and caregivers are able to override the patient remote control, ensuring that the patient is receiving the most accurate treatment. With the ability to select kilograms or pounds, the built-in scale and nurse control system's display portrays the patient's current weight and weight history, as well as the calculated difference between the two (2).
Another feature of the built-in scale and nurse control system is the bed alarm function to signal caregivers when the patient is not in the bed. Additionally, there are two (2) night lights that are controlled by the system, one located under the bed and one placed under the system. Pre-calibrated for efficiency, the bed with a built-in scale and nurse control system includes a CPR and emergency stop feature that stops the bed's motor in order for emergency procedures to be carried out.
As optional add-on items, each over bed table is made with an epoxy powder-coated steel frame and "U" base. Additionally, each table top is made of flame resistant laminate wood tops that come in a mahogany or oak wood color. The table top is height adjustable by using its coil spring lift mechanism.
Additional rails can be used at the foot end of the bed for added safety and protection from falling.
