Leckey Squiggles Seating System

The Leckey Squiggles Seating System is the perfect early intervention solution for children between one and five years old who require moderate to complex postural support. This versatile system is ideal to facilitate daily activities at home, school, or out and about, providing maximum comfort and stability for a wide range of needs.

The basic Squiggles Seat model comes with the seat shell, seat base with depth adjustment, fixed seat back, seat back reclining mechanism, and seat base hip guides and support. A range of highly customizable options and accessories further adapt each chair so they meet each users exact needs and specifications. This seating system is lightweight for easy transport and storage, and is upholstered with soft, breathable fabric that is comfortable against the skin to help prevent irritation or breakdown. Four fun and bright colors help to make the Squiggles Seat more fun, stimulating the childs imagination and promoting engagement and compliance.

Accessories and Optional Support Components:
Pelvic stability helps to maintain correct postural alignment in the whole body and also improves child's cognitive function in regards to communication, sensory intake, and general enjoyment. A flexible sacral cushion supports the lower spine with either a forward tilt or rear tilt, depending on the child and needs.

A contoured shoulder section promotes shoulder protraction and greater stability in the head, neck, and upper body. A ratchet handle in the back of the Squiggles Seat allows for easy adjustments. Optional flip-away or rigid laterals assist to maintain child's correct and upright posture. A chest pad can be added to the laterals for further support while still allowing the child to move their arms.

A trunk harness is available for children that need moderate trunk postural help in the side, front, and shoulders. The height adjustable activity tray can be added to the Squiggles Seat to allow for the child close up interaction with toys, food, and more. A contoured headrest and flat, with the lateral option, are available to provide additional head support.

The footplate can be adjusted to a preferred angle to support the feet for better full-body functioning. The footplate can be flipped up for easier transfers on and off of the Squiggles Seat. Optional sandals can help to further secure the feet to reduce the chance of the foot slipping.

The Hi Low Chassis helps to adjust the Squiggles Seat in height from floor to table height, encouraging interaction with peers, family, and objects. Integrated push handles allow the Seat to be easily moved.
