The Armedica AM-SX Hi-Lo Changing Table with Side Rails is designed with a sturdy X-frame made with 11 gauge welded steel tubing for a table that is strong, durable, and stands up to frequent use. The 400 lb lifting capacity allows you to use this table just as easily with small children as with larger adults. This table is available in either 60 or 72 inches long so you can choose the size that best accommodates your patients and your space.
This changing table is designed with the caretaker in mind, providing a full height adjustment from 18 inches at minimum height to 37 inches at maximum height. The 18 inch low height allows for smooth, effortless patient transfers, reducing risk of back strain and injury from lifting patients to high tabletops, while the 37 inch maximum height allows the caregiver to stand upright while interacting with the patient, reducing back pain associated with that slight bend position common to working on most surfaces.
The one-section table top is padded with a comfortable 1.5 inches of firm-density foam and upholstered with 34 oz heavy duty vinyl in your choice of 11 colors, coated with a Permablok 3 anti-bacterial coating to decrease germ count and protect against fungal build-up, abrasions, and stains. Additionally, this changing table is equipped with side rails for patient safety, however, these side rails pivot down for ease of patient transfers.
The Armedica Hi-Lo Changing Table with Side Rails rests on a base of four swivel lock casters for easy maneuverability when mobile as well as unwavering stability when locked in place. The height adjustment is operated with a footswitch control, enabling hands-free adjustment of the table without interrupting patient interaction. Additionally, this changing table moves up and down vertically with no horizontal movement, conserving space in your changing area. This table is protected by an 18 month limited warranty through Armedica Manufacturing.
Additionally, this table can be equipped with an optional safety belt for increased patient stability, and/or an alternate base allowing 6 of clearance for patient lift. This alternate base does change the height range so that the new range is approximately 22 to 41.
