Danmar's Full Coverage Helmet is a safe, durable and strong helmet that can be bought in a large variety of patterns and colors to help your loved one feel stylish and cool while remaining safe and protected. This lightweight full coverage helmet is made from shock absorbent foam that is fully ventilated, so that the user does not experience an overflow of heat from wearing the helmet. The Full Coverage Helmet is coated in vinyl, so it's easy to clean using just soap and water. Because there's no hardware in the foam, there's no danger of the face connecting with anything hard or sharp.

It's made from slightly thicker foam than our 9820 Soft Shell Helmet to provide greater impact resistance. The design was also modified from the original to provide extra coverage to the temples, cheeks, ears, and nape of the neck. This unique helmet comes with your choice of easily adjustable snap or Velcro closure chinstrap. Custom colors are available for an additional charge, and will render your helmet non-returnable. This is also true if adding any custom parts, such as the Foam Visor, and if the helmet has any custom patterns or colors.

A free set of 4 (1/4") Cush-In-Pads are included with every helmet for more individualized sizing adjustments, if needed.

If the child's head circumference falls between helmet sizes, additional cushions may be needed. See Optional Liner Cushions found above.

Since proper fit is important for the comfort of the person wearing headgear, measurements should be determined by professional personnel.

Measure the head circumference (A) at eyebrow level. Occipital measurement (B) is taken from eyebrow level to the back of the head at the point that the helmet is to end. Over the top of the Head (C) to top of ears.

MODEL 3472 - CUSTOM STRAPPING SYSTEM

This customized strapping system is ideal for users who frequently attempt to remove the helmet. The straps connect comfortably underneath the chin, so that only a caretaker can remove it.

MODEL 3470 - EYEGLASS RELIEF AREA

This modification is perfect for users who have eyeglass frames that cause issues when wearing this helmet. It consists of padded polypropylene slings that allow that little bit of space necessary for comfort when wearing glasses.

MODEL 3471 - PONYTAIL CUT OUT

Helpful for users with long hair, this ponytail cut out is the perfect fit. Can be purchased on any size helmet.

MODEL 3469 - QUICK RELEASE BUCKLE CHIN STRAP

Use in place of a regular chin strap when frequent attempts to remove the helmet occur. To release, just squeeze the buckle.

MODEL 3467 - REINFORCED SEAMS

Reinforced vinyl material is bonded into our foam liner seams, giving extra strength in these areas for situations where they receive exceptional stress.

MODEL 3472 - HELMET CUSTOM STRAPPING SYSTEM

Ideal for those situations where there are attempts to remove the helmet at inappropriate times. Straps are attached to each side of the 9821 Helmet (or to the bottom of the face guard on a 9822 Helmet) and then cross comfortably under the chin, attaching to the back of the helmet with quick release buckles. This also can be attached to our Model 9820 Soft Shell Helmet.

MODEL 3468 - FOAM VISOR

A thick 2" foam visor extends from the helmet approximately 3", and absorbs impact from bumps to the frontal area of the head. Closed cell foam with vinyl coating retains its compression resistance. This can be used in conjunction with the Face Bar when face forward impact is probable.

MODEL 3466 - FOAM REINFORCEMENT

Reinforced vinyl material is bonded to our full helmet liner to prolong the life of the helmet. Especially good in situations when receiving particularly hard use.

MODEL 7640 - VELCRO CHIN STRAP

Velcro Chin Strap designed for Danmar Protective Helmets is a great alternative to snaps for an easy and fast on or off. The Velcro Chin Strap also features strong webbing with a slide buckle for fitting easily.

MODEL 3460 - SOFT FOAM EAR COVERINGS

This modification is specially crafted to ensure the maximum amount of safety for its user. The ear coverings are installed into the helmet with a soft polypropylene lining, and can be purchased on any helmet color and size combination.
