Desoto Classic 3-Wheeler Adult Trike

Trailmate's most popular adult tricycle, the Desoto Classic 3-Wheeler Adult Trike is famous for its comfortable ride, responsive performance, and terrific value. It features a low step through design that makes access easy. A western saddle seat offers hours of comfort and enjoyment. It has a user-friendly V-brake system and a rust-proof, vinyl coated rear basket. It includes a complete reflector set, safety flags, and a front chrome fender.

Frame
The frame is made of steel and TIG welded smoothly together.

Gearing
The gearing on the single speed freewheel version is easy and not difficult to pedal. Trailmate offers a coaster brake kit where you can stop the trike by pedaling backward a quarter turn. A three-speed kit, which is the preferable braking option, is also available. This three-speed option comes with a coaster brake so it can be stopped with the feet, and one gear is easier and one gear is harder than the single speed version.

Braking
The three-speed coaster brake kit works very well and stops the tricycle easily. It is ideal for people who may have some arthritis in their hands, low hand strength, or for those who just feel safer with a coaster brake.

Seat
The Western style seat is wide and comfortable.

The Desoto Classic 3-Wheeler Adult Trike is available in Candy Apple Red, Bermuda Blue, Green, Purple, Jet Black, and Safety Yellow. It's available assembled in 20", 24", or 26" alloy wheels. The 20" version is ideal for those who are 4'8" and taller. The 24" and 26" wheel fits someone 5'2" to 5'11". Choose from the standard Single Speed Freewheel, Coaster Brake, or 3-Speed Coaster Brake.
