The Winco Augustine Treatment Recliner is a modern piece of single seating furniture for most medical settings. With many color choices and optional clinical features to choose from, this medical grade recliner is fully customizable. After years of input from patients and caretakers, this chair has a lowered seat for easy access, a locking system for the wheels, a reclining back that assists in taking pressure off of the chests of bariatric patients, and a wide enough seat that you can curl up and take a nap. Optional additions include but are not limited to a heated massager, IV poles, cushions, tables, and covers.

Due to recent changes in the fire safety laws, no flame resistant chemicals can be added to upholstered parts and furnishings shipping into CA, ME, NH, AK & Washington DC. The law, taking effect as of January 1, 2020, prohibits manufacturers of upholstered furnishings from delivering furnish or using replacement components that contain more than 1,000 ppm of several designated flame-retardant chemicals. The three-inch caster wheels add convenience for when this recliner needs to be moved around infusion centers, patient rooms, recovery, and long term care facilities. A removable seat is designed so that you can efficiently and thoroughly clean the interior sides and the lower portion of the backrest. For painless seating entry and exit, the seat has a lower height of 20-inches.

Featured with fixed arms and a massive seating platform of 20 by 26 inches with the fully reclining backrest, there is ample room to stretch, curl up, relax, or take a nap. The 500-pound weight limit allows geriatric patients the comfort and accessibility of using this seating device. A non-Trendelenburg positioning design assists with breathing in overweight patients by relieving pressure to the head and chest.

The full array of clinical features ensures that this appliance can be used in a medical setting. There are removable covers for the head and armrests for those clients who want a more sanitized seating experience. For a luxurious comfy feel, there are optional side cushions, lumbar pillows, and dual heated massage functions. A heat only setting is available as well. For the left, right, or both sides of the recliner, you can include an IV pole, folding side tables, and finally pivoting side tables.
