Hospitals and other medical facilities usually need to keep a variety of beds and bed frames on hand to suit every situation. Bariatric beds for bariatric patients, low-deck beds for high-risk patients, height-adjustable beds for therapeutic positioning, and more. The AllCare Floor Level Bariatric Bed is designed to be the all-in-one solution for hospital beds, providing one frame that can be used universally throughout the hospital for all patients.
In the past, facilities have had to choose between a width-adjustable bed surface and a height-adjustable frame that lowers all the way to the floor; the AllCare bed does both! When lowered completely, the deck of the bed sits only 3.6 inches off the ground, which is about the width of your smartphone, reducing fall risk to nothing. The adjustable height can be used to raise or lower the patient as needed for caregiver access, and for both Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg positioning. The partitioned bed deck can be used to recline patients and acts as a Cardiac Chair.
The sleeping surface of the bed has a range of 35 inches to 42 inches, and is 80 inches long, meaning it can be adjusted to suit most bariatric patients comfortably, or just to provide a wider, more comfortable surface for the everyday patient. The elegant cherry wood headboard and footboard give the bed a clean, finished look that feels right at home with any hospital decor. Bariatric patients will appreciate the dignity in being treated with the same equipment as non-bariatric patients, and all patients will like feeling as though they are in a normal bed like the one they have at home, rather than a cold and clinical hospital bed. The AllCare can be equipped with 0.25" length side rails or pivot assist side rails that reduce the need to twist and stretch during transitions, or no rails at all for the easiest access.
Traditional auto-contour on most adjustable beds leaves the patient in an uncomfortable position at the foot of their bed. Med-Mizer's revolutionary Clinical-Contour features wait until the head and knee sections are at the same height, then they lower at the same speed to prevent any and all patient sliding into the footboard. This smart feature on the remote control greatly reduces the number of time nurses have to spend repositioning a patient since the patient always remains in their original, comfortable spot. A Lock Out function prevents sections of the bed from being adjusted. This can prevent patients with memory loss from adjusting the remote and disrupting their comfort level.

Seat-inflate increases airflow to add stability and protection for the patient when they are in a seated position. This mattress includes low-pressure alarms that are both audible and visible for maximum attention-grabbing power, and the lower section retains air even in the event of power failure to reduce potential bottoming out. The bottom cover includes three non-skid rubber panels to reduce sliding and enhance frame compatibility.
